We sit a few steps from the Roman Baths, in a candlelit cellar with bare stone walls and low, warm light. The room is small and intimate, made for slow dinners and long conversation.
We were awarded best Italian restaurant in Bath at the Bath Good Food Awards, and hold a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for consistently high reviews.
Many an ancient Roman would have loved it. Lounge in the natural thermal waters, then head for an Italian meal at Sotto Sotto.
You won't find finer Italian food than at Sotto Sotto. Try the prawns with Tuscan bean salad, but leave room for the limoncello profiteroles.
